I’m always interested in other builds, and, in keeping with the theme of Billy’s post:

Except that one is good...

Man, he keeps his chisels and planes sharp... can't believe he split the wood with a pull saw!
That two handed drill sander at 15:30 was cool!

Still, I like the way EJ makes guitars! :D

That's incredible. Skill level aside I don't have the patience to pull something like that off. I'm all in on the build part of things but I loose interest when the sanding and finishing part comes and rush that or never finish it. I have a pine 212 cab I built years ago I never finished or covered because I didn't want to screw it up.
Now it has dings and scratches in it that need to be sanded out because I didn't hold back from using it.

Wow, I didn't know you start off with so much wood for the neck.

Here I am looking for a sub-$2K 335, and this dude builds one by hand that if it was me I wouldn't be able to let go for less than 5 digits, if not 6. But here I am commodifying something made with heart and soul.

I think he ran the wood through the tablesaw to start the resaw, and used the pull saw to cut the little bit left to complete the split. You wouldn't be able to split all the way through with the tablesaw safely.

I just started my 1st build. I did a bunch of cuts on my bandsaw, table saw, planer, and some did some routing last weekend.

We chopped up my moms piano and I owe her a Les Paul Custom. But I'm going to do a Tele first.

That's super awesome. I've just been spending quarantine working.

(And gear whoring.) I realized the other day since quarantine has started I've picked up 4 (I think?) pedals and a guitar.

Yeah, I think I missed this one earlier. That's great and I'm with Gary. Let's get some pics.

Will ya let me off the hook with a progress pic of my 67 Plexi build? The wood dept is not pic worthy yet.

That dude did a badass job on the 335.

Holy fuck - I won't bitch about the price of 335's anymore.
