So I just pulled all the frets off one of my guitars and then started to unbolt the neck. It’s not rocket science but two of the screws broke. Fuck! Pretty sure it’s the first time the neck has been off the body since 1966. So how do I go about fixing this?

Looks like you might be able to get a drill bit started in them and try an easy-out - if that doesn't work, you will be no worse off than you are now.

You aren't fucked, you're just inconvenienced. You can probably get that out pretty easily with an extractor, which you can probably buy at Home Depot for less than $10.

Totally fixable

drill small whole, use an easy out. 10 minutes tops with the right tools.

+1 to drilling & extracting

Make sure to counter punch the screw before drilling (so the bit doesn't wander) and use a very small bit to start

File the screw stumps flat, then centerpunch as G-Space suggests.

So I tried a couple of the suggestions and failed. Those fuckers are tight and the screw material is super soft. I ordered this last night.

If it gets too crazy , you could drill larger, then glue in hardwood dowels

Yep.

Drill it out, fill it with dowels, woodglue and sawdust then redrill. Will work perfectly
