Nice... I just got the Midtown custom I bought from you sold.... was going to get a SG Jr or Special but then a P90 LP Trad Pro popped up and it looks sick AF.... and for the same price as the average SG Special

Satin back, gloss top, 60's neck?

I think I had the Trad Pro II. Not sure what the differences are.

I had two and still have one. Possibly 2010's though. Wish I had kept both but a trade opportunity popped up so I let the vintage burst one go. Still have the wine red and it has been my #1 since I picked it up.

I have a 2013 Trad Pro. It's a great guitar. The previous owner had installed Seymour Duncans and removed the coil taps, which I prefer but I am sure the stock electronics are fine. Mine has the 50's neck, which I like a lot. I've been using this guitar a lot, it's pretty much sharing the #1 slot with my black Classic.

My #1 is a 2013 Trad Pro II. I *think* the only difference between the original Trad Pros and the II's is that the II's came stock with a push/push tone pot that activated a 10dB boost.

They're essentially LP Classics with Grover locking tuners, coil splits, and satin finish on the back and sides. They're my favorites of the non-custom shop Gibsons

from the pics this doesn't look like it has any fancy electronics.... and it's a P90 model so no taps either... I just was wondering if this was one of the shitty years or one of the years where their QC wasn't all over the place... looks good to me in the pics but that doesn't say too much

what years would that be? Aside for a few late Norlin years, thist is largely a myth and internet rumor... the 90's were all good, so were the 00's and this decade the only exception was 2015 because of the robot tuners etc... but if you replace them with normal hardware the guitars are actually great..

When you ask people that actually own/owned them.. this is what you're more likely to get...

I’ve owned a few (one of which came from Eli) and they are solid guitars that you get for a very reasonable price.

I’ve still got a 2012 in black gloss. Friggin awesome guitar, especially for the money. I’ve seen them for as low as $1100.

Ha..not sure if y'all recall but I was originally looking to buy a studio and you guys suggested I but Jer's LP instead, probably one the better decisions I've made lately. I popped some Dimarzios in there, very happy with this guitar but if that changes you'll be the first to know.

I have a 2013 trad and I love it. No weight relief and 50’s neck. Fat but dark sounding guitar. I need to find a pickup that really makes it come alive though. I’ve got a JB in there now, so far the best one I’ve had in it. Thinking of trying a JWP Iron Man.
