It’s no secret that I absolutely love the VFE pedals... I picked up another Standout to use with my JMP (my other Standout is used with the CCV and Uberschall and is set for less makeup gain). This clip I set both pedals to really drive the front of a bone stock Marshall JMP 100 watt.

Just curious, which do you like more? I like and justify both since they each have their own sound. Extra points for knowing the song I’m playing badly.

Damn...those sound really good.

Makes me look forward, even more, for the pedal from Steve :rawk:

I prefer the Standout as it sounds a bit cleaner and tighter, but both sound great. How high up do you have the internal trimpot on the pedals with the JMP?

Steve

I have the makeup gain pot inside the Standout exactly 1/2 way. The Dragon has a compression pot inside and that is up full.

Thx for watching.

Standout

....I went to the Tacoma Guitar Festival a few weeks ago with hope of running into Peter Rutter. I did not see him around.

The amp is bone stock with no tinkering whatsoever. It’s a 1980 Marshall JMP with GE 6550 power tubes and Chinese 8th generation preamp tubes.

Oh! I didn't realize that's the same one Steve is doing. I may get on the list for it too. Have to sell some stuff first.
