I won’t be able to shave on Sunday or Monday. I’m flying to dead and company. No razor blades on the plane.

You can put razor blades in a check in bag.

Man, I wish I could travel without checking a bag!

Anytime I travel with the g/f, she always gives me some of her stuff to put in my bag and I'd run out of room for my stuff.
I finally had to buy the largest check in bag an airline will take... it's huge! Luckily it has wheels.
We went to Atlanta for a wedding and my giant suitcase was overweight by 8 lbs and I had to pay an extra $80!!!

Another Fatip day. and it was AWESOME. Dudes, these are elegant, fun razors. I'm not sure why they were finnicky for me before. Day 3 on Blue White platinum. Discarded it now.

Tundra Artica is always a win.

10/10. fantastic shave.

Any of you guys ever try a Muhle R41?

I don't get why everyone is so fucking obsessed with it. I guess it's aggressive. cool. It's also just another Zamak piece of shit from Germany.

Germany is strange. Everything they make is great, except for razor blades and razors. Dull. Zinc. Crap.

Never tried any Muhle razors.
My first DE was a Murker Long Handle with a classic head. It came with Murker blades that I hated. That was back in 2012.
I still hate German blades but the Murker classic head is decent... slightly better then my Edwin Jagger but, the handle is cheap.
Not sure why I never tried Muhle... probably because, everyone said they were aggressive and it scared me off.

My Murker Slant is also cheaply made.... cheap handle, cheap slant, crappy blades... not what you'd expect from Deutschland.

Never tried one; over the whole 'cheap razors that work' thing. Don't care anymore, BB kills it for me and it's the best tool I've tried.

Drinking Jameson at the airport. Decided to make today an epic shave. Close shave. But got a weeper. Aftershave kind of burned. Boar brushes are kind of fun. They got it right with this handle.

Gene - I think you're on to something about blade-width-differences....
The Persona blade was very harsh and today, the Tiger was ridiculously mild.
After one useless pass with the Tiger, I took the blade out and put it into the Rex - what a difference!
The Tiger is actually a good blade if you have a razor handle that can adjust to expose more blade.
I'm going to try the Persona in the Rex and see what happens when I adjust for less exposure.
Wrapped it up with Catie's Bubbles Midnight Dreary.... great AS.

With a review like that, I had to order a 2 oz bottle of Yuzu Rose Patchuli AS Toner from Chatillon Lux. :thu:

The AS is sold out but they still have toner.

Ha! Stein, I deleted my original post because, I found the toner for sale at the Chatillon Lux website!

Boars rock. Respect the breakin period and you will be rewarded.

During break in, it will be scratchy. And it will stink.

After like 20 shaves it will soften up and stop smelling.

I’ve heard the hairs can break if you let it dry out too much over decades of neglect. I’ve not experienced any of that.

Well, the result was not what was desired or anticipated. Luckily, I could think clearly enough to text my friends to come get me when the show ended. I found my holy grail as an empty popcorn bucket. I ralphed into it right when the show ended.

I knew I would eventually be okay if I made it out of the building. My buddy had to guide me. He is truly like a brother. I appreciate him even more now.

It was like the worst night of my life. I'm glad i can laugh about it now.
