So each bank is different. This bank is 60 days. However, if I paid with my Wells Fargo CC, I would have had 18 months to file the claim. I even spoke with someone at Mastercard that said each bank can set their charge back policy to whatever they want.

That's interesting. My bank quoted some law when responding to a claim of mine.

Anyway shitty deal about the guitar and sorry to hear.

Yeah Citi gives me 180 days. This is not a law, Raf's bank/cc company are being assholes. It's bullshit. I'd end business with them and never look back

This company is not a "borderline" scammer. They are complete scammers. Raf is still out of his money and no guitar. They're as bad as they come.

Yeah, this one isn't even borderline. They are 100% scammers. They have taken money from TONS of people and only delivered 3-5 guitars from what I can tell. And the guitars all have issues...like tuners being installed so that the nuts hang off the wood, not fully sanded bodies, finish problems, gouges in the wood, etc.

Fucking hell Raf, I'm just seeing this now. Jesus Christ. I'm almost madder at your bank than at this assclown builder, but both can fuck off.

Later, they write several entries (which are visible on their page) in which they discuss receiving death threats, call out clients, and essentially argue that people are wrong to feel taken advantage of by them. Using the epidemic as an excuse once more to not distribute guitars to the public. Although I have no means of knowing whether this is accurate, it seems reasonable to assume that shipping concerns should have been handled after two months at that time.

Yeah, it was excuse after excuse. It's been almost 3 years now, and I am basically out of luck. There are a couple of facebook groups now full of people who've had similar issues with this guy with everything from guitars to computer business setups. Just a total piece of shit con man.

lolol wtf

Yeah, it's a shame he is able to keep doing this. Someone started a whole second facebook group with some additional aliases he's been using. People have also posted his phone number and address in the group. Still no recourse. Seems he just moves, changes his number, and gets himself a new alias every time the hot water boils over. There are 1 or 2 guys that are so pissed that they seem to be tracking every move he makes. It's complete insanity.

But yeah, I'm sure that's how he finds new people. Changes his name, changes his industry of theft, no one has heard any of the bad things and he always appears to have a product, so people buy and then it's excuse after excuse until you're fucked.

My thought as well. Once you use it a bit you really start to get a feel for it. I’ve got no evidence aside from my gut from working with GPT a bunch but I had the exact same thought.
I’m like 98% sure this was AI generated.
