We had a little gtg over the weekend and the 2 rare birds shared sometime together . The 2 runes actually vibrated as they got close .
Magical

How come the one on the right is so much cooler?

In all seriousness, it was pretty rad getting to play both runes yesterday! Are those Chromes or La Bella flats you have on ole red?

My g/f's sister and her husband Chris, stopped by for Thanksgiving. Since Chris is a guitar enthusiast and a bigly Tele fan, I took the opportunity to show him the Honeyslut Cigarette Tar Pittman Tele and he was expectedly impressed.
He thought the neck and action were stellar and he really dug the tone of the pickups. He liked how the bridge pickup had twang but wasn't piercing and now he wants to buy a set.
Since, Paul sadly passed while the build was in progress, I only knew that the pickups were made by Arcane, but I never knew what model they are.

Soooo, I took the opportunity to open things up, take some pics and I just emailed them to Arcane in the hopes that the pickups can be identified. I'll update this post once I find out what model pickups they are.

His work was amazing. This guitar is a piece of art... just about as beautiful as a weathered Tele can ever be. Just perfect.

I can't believe it's already been 3 months since I got mine. It's perfect every time I pick it up :)

Yea there are. Wish I could. The burl top/back one with the hog neck and Brazilian board looks amazing. The workingman Tele looks hot too.

Not yet...

I sold Steve Henning's Pittman to a mutual friend of Paul's, a professional musician who couldn't afford a Pittman when Paul was still around. I still have my Lawyercaster, Mary Kay and sunburst Strats, Esquire, and P bass.

Somebody here needs to buy these to keep them in the GGF family. That way I'll hopefully be able to find one to buy when I get that much dough in my gear fund. :thu:
