Thanks guys - yup, it came out great - pretty much exactly what I envisioned when I started the project. Paul did a great job on the burst! Unfortunately, he was not able to finish the guitar - a guy that works with Iconic Guitars (the shop that Paul does his thing at) actually built it and I have to say he did a really nice job putting it together. Guitar sounds really good - the Wolftone Marshallhead pickup was a great choice for this guitar. It's got just a little more output than a straight PAF clone usually does and that works really great with this guitar whether it's going through the Wizard clone I built's lead channel or doing something with less gain. I tried the guitar with a a medium gain Champ Kemper profile and it was early ZZ Top to perfection. I was really hoping to play slide stuff on this guitar too, but the builder got the action so low the guitar plays like a super strat and now I don't want to change it! Action is definitely too low for slide... On another note - after talking to the guy at Iconic, I'm really worried about Paul... I don't think he's doing well... Send him some positive vibes, guys... Steve
