Looking good but have him take the cherry bomb deal off before he finishes it though.
Just a suggestion.

That isn't going to happen. It's my logo and I dig how it looks on there... I had the Cherry Bomb logo made specifically for this build. When you have a Precision kit guitar built, you can logo it any way you want. :)

I don't want to take it off simply because that would cause me to have to do extra work.

The "aged lacquer" that is used on Steves guitar is not lacquer that has been dyed to a color that resembles old lacquer. It is actually clear lacquer that I have had for quite some time and it has actually turned a beautiful, rich medium dark "amber" color. I will only use it on a select few instruments as the resource is finite.

Besides, it's what I felt like doing and it's not like he has any say in this anyway, so...

Man, this thread got quiet fast. Hasn't Nobody tied this thing to the trailer hitch on back of his truck for some 'weathering' yet? :nope:

Oh yeah - I forgot to post these. Paul sent them on 8/26 and said he'd probably do 3 more coats of clear and those would be the final ones and would be finished that day. I assume the finish has been curing since then.
