Yeah. saw an announcement of that a few minutes ago. Nice looking guitar, but it has a 7.25 radius, which I don't like.

I read a thing the other day about a bunch of his "Fender amps" he uses on stage are actually gutted and are 100% Dumbles inside. Has this been known for a while or is it new news?

it's pretty well known I think... he's been using them for a while..

yeah it's a very traditional strat despite of the different look. No truss rod adjustment at the headstock either, which is a deal breaker for me.

Oh fuck me! I'm kind of obsessed with that... I'm in the market for a strat and the aesthetic of that is fucking perfect

A chambered strat though? Is that a thing?

Yeah, similar sentiment except I love Strats, so instead of "it's a no from me," it's "I sure as hell ain't gonna pay more for it than any other Strat."

I didn't realize blocks were unpopular. My favorite inlay shape  black ones on a maple board really get me going

I can't get past the block inlays. Otherwise, I love the color and look of it.

It's pretty. I wouldn't buy it for the radius and lack of chromosome... I mean fret. :D

The blocks remind me of my Hamiltone I had for a minute.

It's a beautiful guitar, but has three things that makes it "not my dream Strat if money was no object" :D

Block inlays. I like them, but on a Strat I'm all about dots.
Matching headstock. I don't mind those either, but a Strat in my head has a natural headstock
7.25" radius. I know people have said that the Mayer PRS proves that you can bend on a vintage radius with a decent action, but I've never played one.

If KWS insisted I take one home, I'd do it :thu: And play chords on it all night long.

For real if I hadn't already purchased two guitars in this price range already this year I would be all over this. Tbh I had to look up who KWS was  but that guitar is amazing looking

Probably couldn't sand his signature off without taking off the headstock finish too, huh?
