I couldn't be more excited! I have thought about how to differentiate my vids from an executional standpoint and going to try something I don't see often if at all. I have a couple vids coming this weekend with a slightly different format.

I am most pleased that I got even this super simple MIDI setup to actually work.

This is a hell of a set up dude. I wish I had something like this here. I hate moving around cables and mics every time I have to record guitars. This makes life a lot easier.

The Hydra footswitch looks cool too.. I need to read up on it... small size and 8 switches... very interesting,

Thanks man! I really want to get back into pedal demos so I think the new idea I am doing will be a potentially cool differentiator. Plus I like the idea of being able to "on the fly" switch amps for tracking in my original stuff.

Thanks Bill! It's seriously awesome. I am super stoked. The Hydra is great. It's not cheap and some people are already like "Dude you should have got X controller for half the price that does all this stuff too!"

Ultimately, I ONOLY wanted a MIDI switcher for the Gemini and the Egnater. 8 presets for the Gemini is MORE than enough and the amp switcher only takes 4 commands. I don't need a super robust controller and I am NOT into heavy programming. The Hydra ain't cheap but it's easy as balls to set up for guys that don't have super complex rigs/requirements.

Pretty cool man. Are you going to cover how to set midi up at some point? A handful of my gear has midi including the Ampete 444 but I wouldn't even know where to start.

Jer; have you tried integrating the Helix controller and using it to switch between amps instead of the Hydra? You could name the amps in the associated scribble strips

AMAZINGLY EXCESSIVE!!! :fap:  :fap:  :fap:  :fap:

Man, I only wanted an amp switcher so I wouldn't have to keep unplugging and replugging my speaker cab each time I swapped amps.... was never considering switching between amps on the fly.
MIND BLOWN!!!

Yeah but I am using this in a few applications like controlling a rig made up of the HX Stomp and KSR Gemini.

Hah! Yeah man this thing is definitely going to make some things way easier. Way faster for tracking multiple amps for sure. I will likely sell this guy after a bit and gran the KHE 8x4. It'll do 8 amps and 4 cabs. It's not a rush but I see it becoming a necessity at some point for where I am looking to go content-wise for Dunky's. This was a great first step though.

I am not going to lie though... I was REAL nervous the first time I turned all my amps and and started switching through! LOL!

I'd be worried about overloading the house's power service and having a circuit breaker shutting off!
If you don't already have it, you may need 200 amp service.
My old house had two, refrigerators, two washer/dryers and two electric ovens so we had to have 200 amp service.
