Ok, I need a little help deciding, since either is a fairly large purchase. Should I get a Ceriatone Son of Yeti for $775 or a Marshall 2525 head for $875?

HELP!!! Haha

That seems like a good price for the Marshall - and at least you will have a Marshall after all is said and done......

What are you trying to get from it? The SOY is more of a hot rodded Marshall.. Jose, Friedman etc...

The 2525 is the dark, smooth Jubilee tone...

They're both great at what they do, but they do completely different things...

For me, I think the Jubilee would work better. Doesn't mean it's a better amp, it just fits my style better.

I'm leaning towards the Jubilee, since I already have the Chupacabra.

yes the SOY is redundant with the Chupacabra.

The Jubilee makes a lot more sense in that scenario.
